No more landings at Woodford Aerodrome.
The runway has now been neatly sliced in half, sold by British Aerospace for a new Redrow Homes development – some really nice houses too.
There are only two hangars left at the back of the airfield awaiting their demolition fate.
The Vulcan on the other hand as always looks superb standing proudly outside the new Avro Museum…well worth a visit.
Will have to have a separate post for the aerial photos of the Redrow project!
